Ok, I'm on a roll now....

Here's a photo I found from a trip Joe and I took to the Dominican Republic for our 15th anniversary. We stayed at a resort in Punta Cana. We took the trip with our friends Bill Thompson and Diane Hartley. We had a really good time. Joe was a little freaked out when he saw the guards with guns at the airport. I was just ready to hit the beach!

Beth says I need to get busy!

Beth called me and said I needed to update my blog. So I guess I'll get you up to date on my recovery and share a couple of old photos with you.

The recovery is going well. Our company shut the doors 3 weeks after my surgery so that left me with no job and no insurance. Couldn't have happened at a worse time but for every door that closes, another one will open I've been told. I actually have a couple good leads on a job so I'm really not too worried right at the moment. I'm still doing some work on the side with GAIM Golf and my websites so that keeps me busy.

I'm feeling pretty good right now. A little pain in my legs and sore on my chest but the surgeon told me last week that I'll be sore for a while yet. He said "You were cut open with a saw and sown back together with titanium wire and held together with super glue....don't expect to be back to normal for 5 to 6 months." So I guess I'll just grin and move forward (along with my darvocett LOL).

Here's a couple old photos of the good ole days. The first is when I worked at Foxfire and actually got to spend the day with Willie Nelson and his band/family.

The next photo is a trip to Las Vegas (I was working at a trade show and took the family). In the photo is Shirley and Al Wargo and their son Andy(standing), Earl and Ann Maxie (Joe's mom and dad) and Me and Joe. I think we all did pretty good at gambling that trip. So, that's what we all look like when we have money! Enjoy!
